At Feroz Movers, we believe in clear, upfront pricing. No hidden charges, no surprise fees at the end of your move. Here's how we structure our rates so you know exactly what to expect.

Local Moves (Within the Lower Mainland)
Local moves are billed at an hourly rate that covers:
- Professional moving crew (2 or 3 movers depending on the size of your move)
- Fully equipped moving truck
- Furniture blankets, dollies, straps, and floor protection
- Loading, transport, and unloading at your destination
- Travel time to and from our base (included in the rate, not billed separately)
What's Included in Every Move
Every Feroz Movers job includes furniture blankets, shrink wrap for upholstered items, floor and doorway protection, basic disassembly and reassembly of furniture, and a final walkthrough at both locations. No extra charge for these essentials.
Factors That Affect Your Rate
Your final quote is based on several factors:
- Volume of items: More belongings require a larger crew and potentially a bigger truck.
- Distance: Longer distances between locations affect total time.
- Access: Stairs, narrow hallways, long walks from truck to door, and elevator wait times all factor in.
- Special items: Pianos, safes, pool tables, and oversized items may require additional planning.
- Packing services: If you need us to pack your belongings, packing is quoted separately based on the volume of items.
- Time of year: Peak season (May–September) and month-end dates tend to be busier and may affect availability.
Long-Distance Moves (Within BC)
For moves between cities (e.g., Vancouver to Kelowna, Vancouver to Victoria), we typically provide a flat-rate quote based on the volume of your belongings and the distance. This gives you a clear price before moving day with no surprises.
Junk Removal
Junk removal is priced based on the volume of items to be removed. We provide an estimate based on the amount of truck space your items will take up. We recycle and donate whenever possible.
Minimum Hours
Most local moves have a minimum of 2-3 hours depending on crew size. This ensures we can properly set up, protect your home, load, transport, and unload your belongings efficiently.
Our No-Surprise Guarantee
The price we quote is the price you pay. If anything changes on moving day (unexpected stairs, items not mentioned, etc.), we'll discuss it with you before proceeding. You'll never be surprised by your final bill.

Pricing Questions
No separate stair fee. Stairs are factored into the time estimate for your move. When you tell us about your home layout during the quote process, we account for stairs in the overall estimate.
A small deposit may be required to secure your date, especially during peak season. This deposit is applied directly to your final bill. Details are confirmed when you receive your quote.
We accept cash, credit cards, debit, and Interac e-Transfer. Payment is due upon completion of your move.
